Before I was told what the activity was going to be I thought that it was going to be something that required acting. When I was told what the activity was I didn't quite understand what we had to do. The activity "Playing with behaviors of everyday life" was fun in a way because I enjoy making funny faces at other people. On the other hand I didn't like the activity. I thought that it was somewhat pointless. I still don't understand what the point of the activity was. The only thing I got out of it was that we got to imitate another persons face as if we were children again.

iconography.
This logo is from the television nextwork of NBC. The logo is supposed to be a peacock. In earlier years the logo was more elaborate and looked just like a peacock. As the years went on the logo became much simpiliar. It currently is 6 shapes of color and a small indent in the the purple shape which is the beak of the peacock.
A sign is something that gives someone information, such as street signs and signs outside of buildings. A symbol is something that represents something by association, resemblance, or convention. A logo is a graphic representation of a company. An icon can be something that represents an important religious person, or it can be an image.

large glass.
The first thing I looked at in Marcel Duchamp's piece The Bride the large cloud shaped object on the very top of the window. The rest of the piece didn't seem to really look like anything to me. The bottom did look something like a factory but it was just shapes to me.
After studying The Bride, I still don't quite understand it. The concept of the piece doesn't make that much sense to me, even after reading the notes on it. I do not think I will really ever fully understand this piece. I still don't see how the sexual concept of this is represented. In the notes about The Bride, it says that the cracks in the piece were caused by the piece being dropped during installation. I do feel that the cracks help with the composition of the piece. The cracks help move your eye from the top right hand corner to the bottom left hand corner of the top half of the piece and then from the top left hand corner of the bottom half of the piece to the bottom right hand corner. This allows for your eye to move over the entire piece and take more of it in.

pattern.
Everything has a pattern. Pattern is most commonly found in floor tiles, wall coverings, fabric prints and general ornaments. Islamic architecture has all of these elements to show pattern. They use several different patterns in their designs for their buildings. Most of their buildings are symmetrical as well. The patterns usually have bright colors and are usually made up from geometrical shapes. The patterns in Islamic architecture use repetition. I do not however like the Islamic style. I do find it somewhat pleasing the eye but it is not something I would choose to look at on my own.
